Since you have
taken the time to visit our website, we thought it courteous
to take the time to introduce ourselves to you. We are an
organic
body of believers in southwest Ohio whose primary
desire is to love God and always be pleasing to Him. Our
second desire is to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Because of these
two great fundamental desires, we want to share with you the
glorious freedom that we have experienced since coming into
the understanding of the teaching and practice of Biblical
Eldership. None of us were raised up under this governing
model and while our religious backgrounds greatly differ,
all us of were “churched” in the typical “one-pastor”
religious institutional governing system.
After
many years of prayerful consideration, we began New
Testament style
Gospel Outreach meetings (www.JesusSavesFromSin.com).
While doing this outreach, we have come in contact with many other people who
share the same understanding as ourselves regarding
eldership. As a result, as an organic church, we
have been encouraged to incorporate the eldership governing
model. Thank the Lord, we can say that Biblical
Eldership is working among us as it was designed by God to
do. This teaching has also been one of the key instruments
through which our eyes have been opened to other
longstanding questions that we have had for many years, but
were never able to find reasonable answers. We are very
optimistic as we face days yet to come!
We are not ashamed
to say that we are still learning, and that we have a long
way yet to go. However, we have a heart-felt desire to know
God in a greater way and to share with others what we have
already experienced and what we have already learned from
our experiences to date. Please pray for us that we will be
found faithful to everything that God has graciously called
and commissioned us to do.
